Matthew 21:1-14

Here is David's reflection from our KVine Virtual Gathering on Palm Sunday. It's a bit of an upside down take on the story inspired by Terry Gau's metaphor of Jesus entrance into Jerusalem as "through the back door." In fact, that's the title of this talk. Through the Back Door. Jesus riding a donkey into the city has so much more import and disarming implications for our understanding of the Kingdom of God than perhaps we often think. Beyond a "feel good" story to cap off Lent as we head into Holy Week, it is a strategic and prophetic call into Kingdom life. Trust you'll find it applicable to these crazy times that we're living in right now. Enjoy.
